Brief Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at London Airport. Tour of London Parks including Green and Hype Park. Stay for 2 nights.
Day 2: Visit Kew Garden, Eltham Palace Gardens or Chelsea Physic Garden.
Day 3: London to Kent. Visit Sissinghurst Castle Gardens and Hever Castle.
Day 4: Kent to Sussex. Visit Christopher Lloyd’s garden at Great Dixter.
Day 5: Continue to Wilshire. Exbury House in Hampshire.
Day 6: Wiltshire to Cornwall. Montacute House and Bicton Park Gardens.
Day 7: Eden Project including the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
Day 8: Cornwall to Bath. Visit Hestercombe House in Somerset.
Day 9: Somerset to London. Stay in Windsor. Visit Painshill Pall, Surrey. Visit Saville Garden.
Day 10: Drive to London Airport.

Hotel

Group Passengers will stay in carefully selected, high quality 3 star hotels or Country House Hotels. Individual independent travellers have a choice of 4 star or 3 star hotels or bed or breakfast guest houses. All Prices are based on sharing twin or double bedded rooms with a full English Breakfast each morning.

Flights

Grassroutes Holidays does not arrange flights. We can however assist you by telephoning fully bonded Air Tour Operators on your behalf. Please note that we do not take payment for flights ourselves, these must be made directly to the ATOL holder. By ensuring that you are booking direct with an ATOL holder you can rest assured that your flights are financially protected.

Flights to and from Britain, lunches, insurance (we consider medical and accident & emergency cover, including repatriation expenses to your home country is essential). Single room supplements, items of a personal nature, e.g. drinks, telephone calls etc. Self Drive prices do not include evening meals or admissions to houses etc.
