HOLIDAY INFORMATION
Brief Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at London Airport. Visit Buckingham Palace and Big Ben. Stay for 2 nights.
Day 2: Boat trip from Charing Cross Pier to Tower of London. Attend evening show of ballet or opera.
Day 3: London to Cotswolds. Stay 2 nights.
Day 4: Drive to Stratford-on-Avon. VIsit Hidcote Manor Gardens.
Day 5: Depart Cotswolds to Bath. Spend 2 nights.
Day 6: Visit Roman Baths, Assembly rooms and the Jane Austen centre.
Day 7: Drive to Windsor and Eton. Visit Windsor Castle and Eton College.
Day 8: Drive to London’s Heathrow or Gatwick airport.
Hotel
The Price Includes:
- 7 nights accommodation in twin / double rooms, with private bathroom & toilet, in a high quality country house hotel.
- 7 evening meals and full English breakfast each morning.
- All transport costs necessary to fulfil the advertised programme.
- Airport transfers from London and Manchester Airports to hotel and return, by deluxe coach.
- Admissions to specified castles, houses, museums etc
- Services of one experienced Grassroutes Tour Escort.
- V.A.T and all local service charges and taxes.
The Price Does Not Include:
Flights to and from Britain, lunches, insurance (we consider medical and accident & emergency cover, including repatriation expenses to your home country is essential), single room supplements, items of a personal nature, e.g. drinks, telephone calls etc. Self Drive prices do not include evening meals or admissions to houses etc.

The Self-Drive Price Includes:
8 days car rental, as appropriate 7 nights accommodation in twin or double bedded rooms in a 4 or 3 star hotel or B&B Guest House, as appropriate.
Chauffeur Driven
For those who prefer not to drive we can arrange a driver / guide for you at supplementary cost. Details on application.
Flights
Grassroutes Holidays does not arrange flights. We can however assist you by telephoning fully bonded Air Tour Operators on your behalf. Please note that we do not take payment for flights ourselves, these must be made directly to the ATOL holder. By ensuring that you are booking direct with an ATOL holder you can rest assured that your flights are financially protected.
