Switzerland’s Bernese Oberland
Hiking Switzerland's Bernese Oberland

The Bernese Oberland is probably the finest mountain region in Switzerland. Great peaks like the Jungfrau, Eiger and Monch need no introduction and the scenery is unrivalled for its beauty and drama. Your base is the attractive village of Wengen, which is linked to the other villages of the area by an amazing network of mountain railways, which chug their way up from the attractive town of Interlaken, situated between the lakes of Thun & Brienz. Your family run hotel is situated in a perfect location with views of the Jungfrau from many of the bedrooms and the food is everything you would expect of Swiss cuisine. Walking is available for all abilities direct from the hotel.
